Spring

We could use some rain around here!  It sure would coax the
wildflowers out and make me happy.  I'm foraging cleavers
in the post oak forest by the lake (it makes a wonderful tea),
and chickweed is growing like crazy in my own yard.
I add it to my stir fries or eggs.

Oklahoma's state tree, the Redbud, also
blossomed into edible magenta.

Spring is my favorite season.
I'm reminded of how beautiful life can be.

  2. We could use some (any!!) rain here too. But Spring is a time of hope and beauty....rain or not.

  3. I endure harsh winters so I can rejoice in spring!
How's that for positive thinking.? :/
The blackcapped chickadees are showing up. I see lilac buds. My nose is burnt from yesterday's sunny day. Expecting some light sprinkles today. It's off to a good start!
What a pretty new banner. I will never forget Fearless, though.
