The small works of my hands recently….

Reader I & Reader II (Found objects: sea stones and figures)

In this society of cell phones and computers, its refreshing to see
someone read an 'old-fashioned' newspaper or a real book! :)

"In the Balance"  (Found objects: shells, sea glass and figure)

I created another miniature gallery for the new local coffee/pastry shop.
This was a 4" x 9" vintage drawer - made over with a paint job of 
Buttercream and Wyeth's Field Green and adorned with new treasures 
gifted by various artists.

A friend asked me to make her beautiful Labradorite stone wearable -
so I linked some beads and attached to an adjustable satellite chain.


The end of last year, I discovered the beautiful Tangerine Quartz.
I enjoy my own necklace so much that I wanted to create some for other creative types. :)
I think it's the gentleness, and the light and glow which reminds me
 of the first or last glimmer of the sun that makes this quartz a joy to wear.

The prairie has been soaking up rain and listening to thunder.
Winter is cold but relaxed.

    Now I am POSITIVE that you made the brilliant and very right decision to quit that job with no view!
    I have always said that you are a true artist in every sense of the word.
    And here it is. Proof. And you are happy, I can see that through the work of your hands and your lovely creative mind.
    Those little boxes!! That miniatures and the little found things. Oh so awesome!
