"Artist with an Indian Paintbrush" 5 x 7 watercolor

The only flowers I'm seeing these days
are the ones I'm painting.

It's cold mostly, but some days sunny.
We're also in drought here in Oklahoma.

Hello 2018
Wings,  9" x 12" Mixed Media

2017 was a beautiful year for me. Oh, there were some agonies,
but …. a shift came that dazzled me like a kaleidoscopic vision.
A gentle wind from God set my sails in the right direction and
I'm still enjoying the journey. Some days I work the tiller, other days I drift.
My course is set, and with the goodness of God,
 hopefully I'll drop an anchor.
Realistically, there will be ups and downs in 2018 -
both are needed like supporting wings.
So I pray for courage, creativity and grit.
I'm ready to fly.
Ready to sail into the new year ~ ~ ~

Wishing everyone a GREAT journey in 2018!

Spring Count Down

Narrow-leafed Puccoon, oil

Spring is having an underground party.
Roots are in riot.
And soon the yellow-trumpets will sound.

Winter is basically my spring count-down!!

Small Greetings

Christmas is coming.
Thanksgiving pies.
I got these mugs when I was a teen in Germany.  Hm, they are very vintage.
Sunny spot under the roses, please.

Over the last couple of months I've photographed some of my
miniature furniture and dishes.  The windowsill still-lives in the kitchen
simply make me happy.

Sunny reading nook.

The earth and sky of Prairie Hill lately.

The sun and wind are spinning gold all around me.

I enjoy roaming the prairie like a bison.

How is your heart?   How is your land?   Your winter?   Your path?

Hello dear friends.  I hope that autumn finds you well and warm.
We started our fall with a desert trip to Arizona.  I would enjoy
staying in this warmth all fall and winter.

"You have to be brave with your life
so others can be brave with theirs."
